Designing with Energy: Feng Shui Workshop

+ Add to Itinerary

Description

Discover the art form that centres how the built form interacts with the natural world, and how we incorporate rhythm, movement, flow and harness energy with space.

Run by Angel Cao, founder of Angelign, a Melbourne-based spatial consultancy integrating classical feng shui design into contemporary residential and commercial design, this is an introduction for design enthusiasts and the general public about feng shui.

Learn how feng shui thinking and implementation can benefit us through a workshop experience where we feel this connection to space. Through our workshop, learn how to read your environment in a different way. Understand the lived environment as a reflection of the self, and to have an empathy and respect for the built form around us. In doing so, when we treat the environment with care and intention, that care comes back to us in reciprocity.

What's On

Beginning with an introduction to feng shui, discover how it integrates with architecture and modern design. The event transitions to an embodied exercise as we see how good feng shui and spatial psychology can elevate and bring more flow into our lives. Through this exercise we see this design philosophy in action. You will leave the event with a new way of thinking and seeing space in your own lives.
