From high-rise exemplars of Republic Tower (1999, 87 apartments, 36 storeys), Paragon (2021, 227 apartments, 48 storeys) and Eureka (2006, 583 apartments, 91 storeys) through to the typological experimentation of Phoenix (2014, 28 storeys, a narrow deep lot of 6.8 metres x 24.3 metres) and up to the latest development, Australia 108 (2020, 1105 apartments, 100 storeys), we will present Melbourne’s urban development and how modes of inhabitation have intensified and diversified.

The tour will visit Republic tower, Paragon, Hero, Phoenix and finish at Southbank to showcase Eureka and Australia 108.
