Discover new and surprising insights about the history of the 19th-century mansions and grand homes on St Kilda Hill uncovered by historian and author, Carmel McKenzie, while researching her book St Kilda 1841-1900: Movers & Shakers & Money-makers (winner of the 2023 Victorian Premier’s History Award).

Join historian and author Carmel McKenzie for a walk around the 19th-century mansions on St Kilda Hill and gain new information and stories about Eildon, Stradbrooke, Ripplemere and Oberwyl mansions, Landsdowne Terrace and the people associated with these historic landmarks.
