Modernist painter, sculptor and educator Ian Graham Bow's (1914-1989) prolific contribution to the arts is articulated through his archive and his many artworks held in collections nationwide, including Hobsons Bay City Council’s cultural collection.

Join us for a discussion led by PhD candidate Heather Lee about Bow's cultural contributions. The talk will be presented at the Hobsons Bay Council Chambers, designed by Robert Warren in 1962.

Heather Lee is a researcher, curator, multi-disciplinary artist, and PhD Candidate in Art History at the University of Adelaide.

    Based in Mildura, Victoria, Heather Lee is a researcher, curator, multi-disciplinary artist, and PhD Candidate in Art History with the University of Adelaide. The subject of Heather’s study is the Melbourne-based modernist painter/sculptor/educator Ian Graham Bow (1914-1989).
