Rushall Park Independent Living

Add to Itinerary

MGS Architects 2019

Description

Rushall Park expands upon the built legacy of Abound Communities, the state’s oldest retirement village provider, delivering 168 independent living units and 15 assisted living units within the historic village boundaries.

The village was established in 1869, and cottages built then are still in use today by couples and single people who appreciate living in this central, well-serviced location. Over time, new accommodation has been built in a range of architectural styles, reflecting changing designs over the decades, with the most recent addition completed by MGS Architects in 2019.

What's On

Join the Rushall Park Residents Committee and MGS Architects for a tour of Rushall Park, exploring the design and features of the retirement village. The tour will pass by the signature Coppin Avenue nd look at the variety of built forms around Henty and Fripp Avenues, before exploring the recent expansion between Sumner Avenue and the railway line which seamlessly integrates modern amenities with the historic charm of the village.
