City Secrets Tour with Peter Maddison
Description
This tour will be guided by OHM’s Ambassador and Grand Designs Australia’s former host, Peter Maddison. It will focus on discovering the city’s contemporary and historic architectural gems and the personalities that have created them.
Peter’s deep knowledge of the built environment will bring an expert lens to this guided walk and shed light on the design elements that contribute to the public life and vibrancy of our city.
Starting at the Evan Walker bridge, the walk will stop at Fed Square, then thread its way to Spring Street before taking a tram down Bourke St and then through the grand arcades and colourful laneways to Southbank.

- This walking tour includes low to moderate activity covering approximately 4km walking, with some areas of uneven ground are requires a basic level of walking fitness. Covered and comfortable shoes are essential.
- A short tram ride within the Free Tram Zone forms part of this tour.
- This tour is not fully wheelchair accessible. Please contact us to discuss any accessibility needs.
- Please meet on the south side of the bridge, above Ponyfish Island entrance.
- This tour will conclude at Brunetti Oro, Flinders Lane.
