ARBV Walking Tour - One Hundred Years of Registered Architects
Description
Join us on a walking tour through the ages to help celebrate the centenary of the Architects Registration Board of Victoria (ARBV). For over 100 years, the ARBV has been working with architects in Victoria to ensure they fulfil their professional obligations to become registered and to maintain high standards of competency and practice.
Come along and see how architects have contributed to our built environment. This tour will showcase Melbourne buildings that depict the evolution of architecture and the growing needs of Victorians over the last 100 years. We will visit one building per decade, from the 1920s to the 2010s. Participants will be in the hands of expert guides, Jill Garner (Office of the Victorian Government Architect) and Giorgio Marfella (Architects Registration Board of Victoria). One not to be missed!
