Our volunteers are often the first people visitors meet, helping create a welcoming, informed and engaged experience.
Volunteering with Open House Melbourne is a unique opportunity to meet new people and be part of a passionate community that values good design.
Our volunteer team continues to grow each year, and we’re always excited to welcome new faces who share our love for the city and its stories.
"The highlight for me is always about discovering a new building, meeting the building staff who are so proud of their venue and then interacting with the public. It’s great to see so many happy people, often despite the weather."
Volunteer for our Non-Stop Fun(draisers)!
Our much loved Summer Fun(draisers) are evolving into Non-Stop Fun(draisers), bringing our audience closer to the places, people and stories that shape our city through special events, intimate tours and unique experiences, all year round. We’re looking for volunteers to support each event in the series!
You will support with greeting visitors, queue and group management, accompanying tour groups, assembling signage, checking attendee lists, way-finding and directions and sharing building information.
Complete the Expression of Interest form below to tell us a little about yourself and which event you’re interested in supporting.
