HIP V. HYPE, Six Degrees Architects and Ironside / 2022

Description

HV.Hotel represents HIP V. HYPE's first bookable accommodation concept, enabling guests to experience the benefits of sustainable living for themselves.

HV.Hotel is located atop the award-winning Ferrars & York building—HIP V. HYPE's most ambitious project yet, designed in collaboration with Six Degrees Architects and built by Ironside. Completed in 2022, the building champions a low-impact living approach to design and construction, is embodied carbon neutral, and is powered by 100% renewable energy.

With an exceptional 8.1-star NatHERS energy rating (out of 10), HV.Hotel is an ever-evolving, living laboratory of ideas and collaborators that sit at the intersection of design and sustainability.

What's On

Join HIP V. HYPE founder Liam Wallis for a guided tour of HV.Hotel at the award-winning Ferrars & York building in South Melbourne. With sustainable buildings central to our future cities, the conversation and explorations will focus on the intersecting role of sustainability and design in creating better spaces.
