Mail Exchange Building

J.S. Murdock 1917, Buchan 2014

Description

Reconnect with a quiet jewel of Melbourne’s past. Experience a guided tour through the Mail Exchange Building led by designers and architects from Buchan. As the lead architect behind the building's restoration works and designer of our own architecture studio on Level 1, the Mail Exchange forms an intrinsic part of not only the architectural history of Melbourne, but also our architectural legacy that celebrates over 130 years of practice.

What's On

Through guided tours, visitors can discover the evolution of the building from its past as a central infrastructure for mail in Victoria to its current iteration as a multi-level commercial space for creative studios and co-working.
