truly unique architectural experience
The Australian Islamic Centre is a comprehensive facility featuring multi-use worship, educational and recreational spaces. The centre was designed by Glenn Murcutt, world-renowned and Pritzker architecture prize-winning designer in collaboration with Hakan Elevli of Elevli+Architects. Elevli will take visitors on a tour of this impressive site was fully funded by the community and combines form and function with unique Australian characteristics. This meeting of two cultures has been successfully achieved through the many creative and intricate design elements present throughout the structure, delivering a truly unique architectural outcome.
