SEEK HQ Building Tour

Hassell 2021

Description

SEEK’s new international headquarters in Melbourne’s Tech Hub is a people-focused workplace which places the interests, character and identity of its current and future workforce at its core. Defined by its gabled twin peaks and corium brick exterior, the seven-storey building unites around a central atrium allowing daylight to filter into the heart of the interior, activating the work floors and providing a central focus for the whole building.

Anything but typical, SEEK’s new global HQ is an ultra-flexible ‘contemporary warehouse’ that embodies the company’s unique culture and embraces its future. Incorporating over 19,000 square metres of floor space, the building is set back from all its boundaries to respect its residential neighbours, provide a generous garden for SEEK and the local community, and create a wider footpath.

SEEK is a carbon neutral business. The PCA A-grade building, designed in consultation with Arup, achieves best practice environmentally sustainable design including tracking to achieve a 5.5 star Green Star rating (Australian Excellence), and is certified at the highest level with a NABERS 6-star for both Energy and Indoor Environment.
