3CR Community Radio Station

Description

3CR is a dynamic community hub that has produced radio since 1976. Broadcasters present around 120 radio programs every week, including 20 community language shows in 13 different languages and 10 hours of First Nations programming. Established to provide a voice for those denied access to mass media, listeners can tune in on 855AM, 3CR Digital, stream live online, access audio on demand or download podcasts of the shows.

Tour the 3CR Community Radio studios to see where 3CR volunteer broadcasters present their weekly shows, meet 3CR Volunteers and learn about the history of this unique community broadcaster. Gain information about volunteering opportunities as well as the diverse content that audiences listen to. Jump in the studio and experience what it's like to record a radio announcement and listen back.
