Birrarung

Description

What is our story of the river? Paddling on the river moves us to focus on how we collaborate with the water and the river. Focusing on our senses and the effect the river has on our bodies as we move across it, we start to imagine ways for people and the river to collaborate differently.

What's On

Join us for a kayak tour along the Birrarung. As we paddle out from the suburbs and under the eastern Freeway, we encounter space to immerse ourselves in, experience, and consider nature. This kayak tour is inclusive for all ages.

Children's Activities

Children are encouraged as valued collaborators.

There is a long ramp that vehicles can navigate to get to the start. From here there are about 10 steps to access the river
