Description

Designed by Denton Corker Marshall, the Geoff Handbury Science and Technology Hub at Melbourne Grammar School is an innovative piece of architecture in both performance and appearance. A unique space for learning and teaching, the building supports the scientific and technology-driven investigations carried out by students and encourages creativity, learning and social interaction. The Geoff Handbury Science and Technology Hub was awarded the 2018 AIA Victorian Chapter Award for Educational Architecture.

What's On

This Open House weekend will afford visitors a rare insight into one of the city’s most innovative education environments. The Geoff Handbury Science and Technology Hub is a pinnacle of education architecture—a leading environment for teaching and learning that supports creativity and interaction for both students and teachers.

Representatives from Denton Corker Marshall will be on site to discuss the practice’s approach to designing for pedagogy in a rapidly changing landscape.

Representatives from Melbourne Grammar will be on site to discuss how the design of the facility has positively impacted both students and teachers in the STEM fields.
