The biggest change to Melbourne Airport’s road network in its 56-year history is opening this Spring. Join the project team for a sneak peek of the roads, buildings and bridges that will change the way you pick up and drop off at the airport.

What's On
Join this walking tour for a chance to experience the biggest change to Melbourne Airport since it opened in 1970.
Starting at the PARKROYAL Hotel, light refreshments and a project overview will be provided. Participants will then walk to levels 2 and 3 to hear more about how the new Pick Up and Drop Off zones will pave the way for the expansion of the International Terminal (T2). Learn about the new dedicated exit off the Tullamarine Freeway (Naarm Way) that will take passengers directly to the new T123 Transport Hub.
From there you'll enter a new architecturally-designed gateway that leads to our 19-metre wide pedestrian bridge connecting travellers to the terminals, before finishing back to the PARKROYAL Hotel.

Please meet at the PARKROYAL Hotel Melbourne Airport 15-20 mins prior to tour start time. Free parking details and instructions on how to access the PARKROYAL will be emailed to participants two days prior to the event.
Please keep personal items to a minimum. A room will be available to store belongings at participants' own risk.

The new Level 3 Drop Off zone and new Level 2 Pick Up zone will not be open to the public, and will still be construction sites. We will have stairs and lift access to each level and have accessible parking available.
