This self-guided tour features three different paths celebrating urban design initiatives across the central city that have contributed to Melbourne’s unique character and urban culture while also creating a more walkable city.

What's On

Venture down laneways of old and explore contemporary pathways through the city to see how Melbourne’s iconic network of arcades and laneways has expanded over time through various urban design initiatives. Visitors can download or collect a map to explore sites across the central city during the weekend and beyond.

Over the Weekend (27 + 28 July), collect self-guided tour maps at the Open House Melbourne Info Hub outside Melbourne Town Hall or download a PDF!
