City Image Tour—Summer Fun(draisers)

+ Add to Itinerary

Description

Join us as we walk the borderland between historic Melbourne's Hoddle Grid and waterfront Melbourne's Birrarung Marr and Southgate, weaving together two Melbournes through sculptural bridges and art in public space.

Guided by Anthony McInney, an artist, academic and cultural producer, the tour reveals the layers of the city. From the public history of screen culture and the hidden world of street art, to moments of secular ceremony expressed through sonic and kinetic sculpture along the Green Line, Melbourne's newest park and oldest meeting place.

Brought to you with the generous support of our friends and partners, our Summer Fun(draisers) offer new and special opportunities as well as returning crowd favourites. These intimate, limited capacity talks + tours will take you up close and behind-the-scenes with design experts, all the while making a valued contribution to Open House Melbourne.
