Designed by Architectus, the Centre reimagines vocational education through immersive, hands-on learning and advanced simulation spaces, equipping students with the skills required for real-world challenges. With its visibility and accessibility in a thriving mixed-use precinct, the Centre is designed to engage the broader community. The facility’s unique architectural elements, including its hand-laid brick façade inspired by the local waterway, reflect the flow of life and learning within its walls.
Set to achieve a formal 5 Star Green Star certification, the building balances vibrant and calming elements, ensuring a purposeful and welcoming learning space for all.
Key features include the Simulation Labs—a purpose-built training spaces for nursing, pathology, aged care, childcare, and disability support; the immersive theatre, an adaptable space with floor-to-ceiling projection screens to allow for augmented and virtual reality learning experiences; and the flexible study areas—light-filled atria and informal study zones designed for collaboration and independent learning.
