Piccolo House
+ Add to ItineraryDescription
Piccolo House is set on a unique island site that allows the architecture of this development by Wood Marsh to be expressed on all façades.
On the Dorcas Street front, the original Victorian terraces have been restored to incorporate office and retail. Behind this façade sits an off-form concrete structure containing coloured reflective glass elements that reinterpret the autumnal tones of surrounding brickwork.
Architectural and interior experiences merge as the entry via John Street is signified through mirrored glass and blackened steel. The lobby interiors mimic the colourful exterior with autumnal tones of mirrored glass. On the upper level, the Piccolo office reinforces the materiality of the building. With interiors composed of travertine, deep timbers and rich black and bronzed metal accents, this carefully curated space reflects our team’s precision in material selection and the deeply held focus on quality that lies at the heart of every Piccolo House.
