122 Roseneath St
Architect: Fieldwork 2016

Building Description
122 Roseneath St is one of the wave of developments hoping to improve the quality of new apartments built in this country. Offering residents much more than a high-quality home, at 122 Roseneath St, community-building is a priority.
A collaboration between Wulff Projects, Icon Developments and Assemble, the goal for the award-winning project was for the team to create an environment they’d be happy to call home. The development is located in one of the last remaining pockets of tightly-held Clifton Hill in a partially retained Brutalist building and features a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and townhouses, designed to suit residents across all stages of life.
The project seeks to retain neighbourhood appeal and build community involvement. It includes a multi-purpose communal room, a north-facing terrace with a barbeque area and herb gardens, a workshop and communal laundry. With a focus on outdoor space, a highlight of the project is a pair of elevated linear parks with native plants that separate the townhouses from the apartment building. Seven of the development team live at the development.
