Gippsland Performing Arts Centre
+ Add to ItineraryDescription
Gippsland Performing Arts Centre is an exemplar of community-informed design and engineered timber construction in the Latrobe Valley and Traralgon.
Designed by architects Jackson Architecture and Katsieris Origami, the project team’s vision was to connect the past, present and future by drawing on the Valley’s rich timber history.
Using local timber such as Victorian ash, they created a welcoming gathering space for the community that alludes to the past while fulfilling the community's needs and expectations today.
