What's On

Discover an immersive sonic walk and workshop in this aural exploration of the Birrarung, which invites participants to partake in sound walking as an active creative practice. Collective listening enhances the connection with the natural environment. The workshop also covers acoustic ecology as a form of sound design. Participants are invited to bring their phone or other recording device and will be guided in taking field recordings.

Join Andrew Skeoch at 9am for Acoustic Ecologies, a peaceful listening walk and field recording activity. Grab a morning tea cuppa at the Heide Kitchen before Luke Murchie’s insightful Yaluk Langa ecology workshop at 12pm.

Please note that museum entry is not included, and individual bookings are required for each workshop session.
