Munro Development – New Community Hub 

Part of the Queen Victoria Market Precinct Renewal Program, the Munro Site will house the city’s largest Community Hub in one of Australia’s most sustainable mixed-use developments – designed by Six Degrees in collaboration with Bates Smart. The Community Hub will accommodate ground level retail, a library with Makerspace, an events room and a landscaped terrace. Affordable housing is accommodated in the upper levels over (not accessible). The facility sits over the new QVM basement carpark which will free up space for a new city park on the current carpark location. The facade has been designed by artist Rose Nolan as a public artwork.
