SELF-GUIDED TOUR
Come and explore behind the scenes of the ABC building in the heart of Melbourne’s arts precinct, where all the exciting production takes place. You’ll see live radio in action, visit the studios, TV sets and have the chance to meet some familiar faces or put a face to the voice you hear on ABC Radio. There’ll be displays and attractions for all ages, including a VR experience for kids.

Ever dreamt of going behind the scenes and seeing the ABC News Room?
In this guided tour at ABC Southbank, you’ll learn about the daily production of the news bulletin, see the control room, and explore the sets of News Breakfast, 7pm News, The World and the weather! Some of the team will be available across the day for your tour including 7pm presenter Mary Gearin, senior reporter Ben Knight and Nate ‘The weatherman’ Byrne.
