Coffee with an Architect: A Glimpse into Studio Life

+ Add to Itinerary

Architect/Designer: Architectus

Description

Architectus opens the doors to its Melbourne studio for a series of intimate hourly sessions over coffee. In each, you’ll tour a working architecture studio, see current projects in progress and hear directly from the practice’s architects about how ideas move from sketch to model to city.

These conversations explore how design can give more back to people and place: from making buildings more welcoming and accessible to shaping public spaces that influence our civic life. You’ll glimpse how teams collaborate across disciplines and what it means to balance client needs with broader responsibilities to the city and the planet.

Whether you’re a design aficionado or a student considering a future in architecture, this in-studio experience offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how the spaces of a generous city are imagined, developed and realised.
