A wide riverside promenade runs along the water at Birrarung Marr, with boardwalks, paths, and seating surrounded by native plants and trees. On a clear sunny day people are walking and sitting along the landscaped river edge, with the city skyline in the background.
A conceptual rendering shows a redesigned riverfront at Federation Wharf with wide pedestrian boardwalks, terraces, and landscaped green spaces stepping down toward the water. People walk, sit, and gather along the river’s edge, surrounded by trees and planting.
An image of the Greenline Project Hub, a small, modern building sits beside the river, with large tinted glass walls and a low, curved form that blends into surrounding greenery and pathways. People walk along the riverside pathway and sit on the raised wooden bench. The building appears open and inviting, set within a landscaped garden.
An illustrated Plan shows the 4km stretch of the Greenline Project area along the north side of the river. Different sections are marked as distinct precincts with pathways, open spaces, and landscaped areas linking together along the waterfront
A floating wetland platform covered in dense plants sits on the surface of the river. On a timber railing along the edge of the wetland, a water bird (cormorant) is perched, overlooking the surrounding water and city setting.
