Description

Swift Walk, Kensington demonstrates a new model for the delivery of large-scale social and affordable housing, bringing together government, institutional investors and community housing expertise to deliver much-needed housing for Australians on lower and middle incomes.

Designed by leading architects Kerstin Thompson Architects, Hayball and LIAN Architects, with landscape design by SBLA Studio and DKO, Swift Walk introduces new long-term rental housing alongside green spaces, shared amenities and community infrastructure, all within walking distance of transport, employment hubs and major hospitals.

With investment from capital partner HESTA, funding support from the Australian Government, and managed through a strategic partnership between Assemble and tier-one community housing provider Housing Choices Australia, this large build-to-rent development provides 362 homes across five buildings, including 272 affordable and social homes.

What's On

Join a guided tour led by the project team, exploring Swift Walk’s shared spaces and a selection of apartments. The tour offers insight into the design of the building and the partnerships behind it, highlighting how the project supports everyday living for a diverse community of residents.
